Type L bushings are used to hold either slip or fixed renewable bushings. The liner's ID has a precise sliding fit with the renewable's OD. The hardened liner accurately locates the renewable bushing while protecting the jig plate from normal wear caused by frequent bushing replacement. Liner ID's, OD's and lengths come in common fractioanal drill sizes. Standard sizing and ANSI part numbers for L type bushings are listed in the table below.
