Bushing Search - Inch

  • 1 Input letter of bushing style type (P = Press Fit) and a dash...P-
  • 2 Input bushing O.D. in 64th's of an inch (20=5/16") and a dash...P-20-
  • 3 Input bushing length in 16th's of an inch (8=1/2") and a dash... P-20-8-
  • 4 Input bushing I.D. in 10,000th's of an inch (.1250=1/8")... P-20-8-.1250

Bushing Search - Metric

  • 1 Input letter of bushing style type (PM = Press Fit) and a dash...PM-
  • 2 Input bushing O.D. in mm's (8) and a dash...PM-8-
  • 3 Input bushing length in mm's (12) and a dash... PM-8-12-
  • 4 Input bushing I.D. in two decimal mm's (4.50)... PM-8-12-4.50

Special ID Sizes Within Standard ID Range: For bushings that retain standard OD, length and tolerances, any special ID sizes that is not a standard fractional, number, letter or metric drill size may be special ordered.
Example: P-48-16-.4980

Smaller ID Size Than Listed Range: For bushings with a standard OD, length and tolerances, a standard or special ID can be orderd if smaller than the listed range.
Example: P-40-16-.2500

Larger ID Size Than Listed "Thin-Wall Bushings": For bushings with standard OD, length and tolerances, a larger standard or special ID can be ordered if larger than listed range. Check for adequate wall thickness by calculating the ratio of ID divided by OD:

Up to 1/4" OD - ID/OD must be less than .70

Over 1/4" to !/2" OD - ID/OD must be less than .75

Over 1/2" OD - ID/OD must be less than .80

Special Length: For bushings with standard ID, OD, and tolerances, a shorter length than maximum listed length can be ordered.
Example: H-16-14-.1250

Special Extra Length: For bushings with standard ID, OD, and tolerances, an extra length than listed length can be ordered.
Example: H-16-26-.1250

Combination Special ID, OD, Length: For bushings with special ID, OD, and length, can be ordered.
Example: H-22-14-.1260

No Counterbore On Long Bushings: For longer bushings that would normally be counterbored according to ANSI standards, can be ordered with "no counterbore".
Example: P-20-16-.1250-NCB
